Our Verdict

I’m a recent convert to soft water bottles for use when I’m backpacking, this is designed to be used by trail runners and stored in a vest or waist belt, but it works just as well for hikers.  I love that they are only as large as required so they can be stored easily, but this also reduces sloshing and bouncing . The lid has an easy-grip cap, is simple to remove, and the large 40mm mouth makes filling straightforward but also easy to mix in a powdered energy drink. The Push/pull locking bite valve has a good flow rate, the body of the flask is made from a BPA-free laminate of polyethylene and ethylene-vinyl acetate and is very strong.
